Always good to see the PVR industry getting run and its finally made Slashdot here. They point to content at XYZ computing featuring some amazing PVR’s. Would you just love some of those boxes for your own PVR?

Look like there might be some competition in town for the Windows MCE uber-forum The Green Button: Remotely Cool, although at this stage there isn’t a lot of posting going on. Competition is always good though

PVR Wire reports that Elgato announced the version 2.0 of EyeTV at MacWorld 2006, which includes electronic program guides for both North America and Europe — and an export function to allow users to easily transfer video to their iPod or DVD.

More on the Yahoo TV front, with a new media release from Yahoo indicating that the Yahoo! Go TV software will have:
- Full Personal Video Recorder (PVR) functionality, including trick play features and access to the PC for storage of content
and
- Full TV tuning capabilities to control your TV channels
