I’m not sure what to make of a media release that only states that products are now available on a particular site, but just in case anyone is interested, PVR solutions provider Video Without Boundaries has announced that Yahoo.com is now carrying VWB’s MediaREADY 4000, 5000, and Flyboy media center and portable products.

Microsoft’s Remote Keyboard for Windows XP Media Center Edition

Wednesday, July 13th, 2005

All I want for Christmas is this little gem featured on our sister site The Gadget Blog, Microsoft’s Remote Keyboard for Windows XP Media Center Edition. Colbert doesn’t seem to like it but for my liking having to get down on the floor near the PVR to use a keyboard when I dont want to […]

MythTV review at NewsForge

Wednesday, July 13th, 2005

Interesting review on MythTV over at Newsforge, particularly the comments on how easy it is to tweak the Linux stuff. My personal experience is the opposite, I haven’t had to use a command prompt in any depth in over 10 years and I panick at the thought now. Any, have a read, not a bad […]

I’ve finally got around to installing the latest release from the team behind the open source Media Portal project, 0.1.3 prerelease version, and despite some great expectations I’ve got to say I was disappointed with it, but before I go on this is a pre-release version and as such its not the final release, and […]
