The Hollywood Reporter reports that at an investor’s conference Thursday, TiVo vp finance Stuart West said the company’s advertising initiatives and partnership with Nielsen Media Research for gathering data from TiVo’s users amount to businesses that are “still at a fairly nascent stage,” though they’re expected to grow quickly once Comcast Corp. offers TiVo’s service beginning next year.
