Intel And TiVo To Offer TV On Laptops

Intel and TiVo are set to introduce a TiVo To Go program that lets consumers download television programming and wirelessly transfer it to IBM Centrino notebook computers.

Users of TiVo’s personal video recorders will be able to transfer recorded television content to Centrino notebooks using pre-installed software. Notebook users will then to take the programming with them while traveling, he said.

Launch is said to be in two weeks.
